    What better way to celebrate MLK Day, but with a movie about NWA.

    2.5 hours?! Plus there’s a Director’s Cut on Max? Didn’t realize this was such an epic. 

    Paul Giamatti?! 

    Film looks good, well made. I do hate 80s-90s gangbangers. All gangbangers, really. The ones in the opening took me back to the 90s.

    Finished it:

    Wonderful performances, they nailed what the world was like in the 80s. But, fuck this show. It’s so sad, heart breaking and depressing for the most part. Nobody was really looking for this kid. His dad was, but he was so fucked in the head, and fucked up all the time. 

    Great but tough to watch, if you have kids. 



    Still on episode 3, but wow.

    28th film watched since Friday, for Halloween horror marathon. 

    “Old people, sick people, people with dogs. That’s the order you hate people in? Yup”

    No one’s allowed to make a sequel or remake to Back to the Future. So, we have this, with a killer. Love it!

    I’ve watched horror movies set in the 80s, and made in the 80s. Didn’t expect to see a horror set now, then by time travel, in the 80s. Again, love it
