Apocalypse Now 1979

"The shit piled up so fast in Vietnam you needed wings to stay above it"
This film is genuinely perfect, there are no flaws. And not only is it flawless but it has some of the finest acting, ever. And direction too, fuck it its got some of the best pacing I've ever seen aswell, the soundtrack AND the score are fantastic too???
But all that and it still can't even compare to how fantastic the characters are in this.…

RIP to the greatest director to ever live, I was genuinely so devastated when I heard the news, listened to some of the twin peaks soundtrack in his honor. It's genuinely so surreal that my perception of him is now changed forever, there is so hope of another lynch film. I'm gonna miss this man dearly
