When it’s funny, it’s VERY funny, but I just couldn’t get a handle on the tone for most of it. Tends to get better the more ridiculous it gets, which means it gets better as it goes, but by the time we got to the end I found the thematic connections pretty tenuous. I think I get what they’re going for, but I’m just not sure about how they got us there.
