Dan’s review published on Letterboxd:
I’ve never done this before, but I feel like it’s imperative to talk about it. By now, you might have noticed that I’m now a Patron on Letterboxd, and I want to share how I got it.
It all happened unexpectedly today. At 12:21 PM, I received an email about a Letterboxd gift subscription from llusioner, with this message:
"Hey Dan, I hope you enjoy the one free year of Patron and keep up the great reviews! Happy holidays :)"— LLUSIONER
So yeah I was left speechless, shocked, and immensely grateful hearing it. Honestly, times are pretty tough for me right now. I’m short on money to buy patron and still struggling to find a job as well, so this gift couldn’t have come at a better time.
llusioner has been my mutual for quite a while, and I quite like him. I enjoy it when he engages with my reviews and shares his thoughts. While I wouldn’t say we’re particularly close, he seems like a genuinely great guy, and I look forward to getting to know him better. I wish i could reciprocate in equal measure, but for now, this public appreciation is the best I can offer.🙏
So, thank you, llusioner, for this incredibly generous gift. To anyone reading this, I’d encourage you to give him a follow, but please be respectful and don’t ask him for a Patron subscription. He can’t always please everyone, you know.
As for me, I’ll continue writing great reviews, just as he encouraged me to. Wishing all the best to you, Illusioner! And to everyone reading this, I hope you receive a wonderful surprise this holiday season as well.
Happy holidays, everyone!😇
