I was thinking that only Disney could make lovely musicals, and I was wrong. I was stunned and mesmerized by the beauty and excitement Jon M. Chu delivered to the big screen and the fact that we were just in round one and still have a lot on a plate to be finished is just mind-blowing. Wicked is a near-perfection musical cinema, complete with dazzling visuals, stunning choreography, heartfelt combinations of plot and music which will bring you to the core of their emotions. Also the powerful themes, banger musical numbers, the camera shots that are gorgeously made, and the production values that are undeniably flawless. I never doubt Cynthia Erivo but Ariana Grande showcased her true acting skill here, she gives a great performance as the witty Glinda. A wonderful spectacle that all ages finally can enjoy.
