Tarantino may be the worst director to ever step in front of the camera, and Pulp Fiction will always be underwhelming for that scene. Everything else though is so astonishing. The non-linear narrative is still fun to follow, character introductions are iconic, and it’s all basically a premise derived from one man’s foot fetish. Hilarious before it gets uncomfortably violent, and just oozes with a cool edge to it all that unite both film bros and cinephiles. The one movie that really got me even more hooked on them, and with over a thousand watches of different movies in between, it still holds up as some of the best.
