Star Wars movies should never be mediocre. Practically no new information was given about the characters that wasn't already in the trailer. This movie had so much fertile ground with the father/daughter/surrogate father set-up that never paid off. Star Wars movies are about families that are destined to change the fate of the universe. Jyn's story could have had a much bigger Joan of Arc impact, but ultimately fell flat.
2 1/2 stars for the Stormtrooper porn.
