It was practically impossible for this to be superior to its predecessor. Still, I had blast, the fan service is practically non-existent, it remains idiosyncratic, but it feels like a separate entity from the first one. Its use of music is excellent (the fucking Bee Gees and Pino Fucking Donaggio!), elevates the grotesquerie, the CGI never feels cheap and all the actors are in their element.
