I don't think anyone could have expected in 2015 that George Miller would create another milestone in action cinema with his mad max reboot.
I just watched the movie my second time a few days ago and was able to watch it today again the third time with absolute pleasure. There is hardly a movie that is more entertaining and easier to watch watch.
The cast is of course outstanding with Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, but Hugh Keay's Byrne back in a villain role is also an absolute surprise. In addition to the cast, the effects are almost completely timeless and the score by Junkie XL is always a treat for the ears. Brother in Arms is the absolute highlight song and became legendary for me over the years.
All in all, a milestone in action cinema and with the time one of my favorite films.
