In my opinion, the second film is better than the first. It has a nice rhythm to the events, not to mention Naomi Scott's performance, which makes you feel the madness and distress of the character. "The remake doesn't even come close to the original" actually, it does, since both are pretty average, and I still liked the changes in the remake, Eric's new look and how in this movie they showed at least a little bit of his and Shely's relationship, in the original movie we already come across her dead.
