A rather unconventional story for its time. That being said, I have no doubt I would have rated it even higher had I watched it much earlier, before this kind of plot became, I might say, more commonplace. Still, it’s a brilliant story, animated in a beautifully stylish manner. The characters are intriguing, save for the government agent, who feels rather generic. The humor is perfectly placed, and the visuals, which haven’t aged a day, make this a timeless classic.
