Osgood Perkin’s The Monkey is an extremely enjoyable movie, that is very self aware of what it is. The word I’d use to describe this movie is pure camp. Theo James was fantastic and had the perfect comedic timing to be the lead in this movie.

Y’all ain’t ready for this
The Substance is a body horror filled with pure unstoppable rage. It's not subtle on it being a critique on the unrealistic expectations to beauty standards that people have to this day. More movies have critiqued this, but Substance is unique in this as it's using this to constantly push the limits, and translating this with gore, fully present in it's glory.

Ralph Fiennes puts on an incredible performance that will absolutely put him in the Lead Actor category for the Oscar season. Anytime you see Fiennes, he takes up the screen.
