Trap is an interesting concept, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired—a comment that could apply to several of M. Night's films. The movie struggles to make its world believable, stretching the limits of plausibility until it feels almost silly. The numerous plot twists don’t help much either. While I enjoy a good twist, here they became so over-the-top, and some were easily predictable, which made the rest of the movie's world feel hollow and absurd. For me, the film just unravels as it goes on, growing increasingly outlandish. I was curious to see how it would end, but in the end, it fell short
