Better Man 2024

Bold, unapologetic, & honest. It’s a wildly refreshing biopic that never shys away from its subject matter. The use of the songs & choreography are stellar. Shame it’s getting taken out of theaters so fast, but I’m glad I caught it.

[UNRATED REWATCH]
I’ll stand ten toes down on business that this is probably the definitive Wolf Man movie. Any time I hear him mentioned, this is the version I think of. (no shade to Chaney, he’s also fantastic) Great gore, solid story, amazing makeup. It’s a total blast. Don’t think the new one will reach this one’s level, but I’m excited for it nonetheless.

Glad to say I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Definitely a departure from the classic story we know, but an interesting one. Having wolf POVs added a really cool element to it. Not super scary, but mad tense. Once it gets going, it doesn’t let up.
