absolutely adore this thing. jason segel not convincing at all as a DFW impression but still such a good interpretation and a consistent and singular performance from him. only qualm is i wish they removed the book release speech that jesse eisenberg does at the end- feels a bit corny and unnecessary

people saying this is style over substance but the simple narrative adds such a sense of purity and humanity and is sooo evocative to me !
obviously visually the most gorgeous ever. the nature nd scenery feels commanding yet forgiving at the same time. i Died. Terrence Malick youre 2/2 so far
