    It’s a crime that A24 fumbled the bag THIS BAD with advertising Sing Sing this awards season. This film should have at least like 6 Oscar nominations. I’m glad Coleman is getting recognition for his performance in this film but I unfortunately don’t think he’s going to win. 

    This story is filled with so much emotion, humanity and compassion. I implore you to see this if you haven’t seen it yet. Everything from the score to the cinematography to the lighting is firing at all cylinders. What an experience to witness!

    I’m sorry but this movie is so painstakingly corny, it was hard to take any of the story seriously. 

    The acting isn’t that bad but the script that these actors were given did not do any of them justice. The kills weren’t that inventive like they were in Thanksgiving and a lot of them were spoiled in the marketing. The reveal was also pretty predictable and anti-climatic.

    I see what In A Violent Nature was trying to do and I appreciate the big swing that it took BUT it did not work for me.
