Yeah, I think this is my least favorite one.
]]>
Barbara and Michael sound exhausted
]]>
I love the tone of this. I need more zaniness in my 007 movies
]]>
Three stars for the music and clock sequence. The rest is a slog.

From Culver with Love screening at the Culver Theater. Guests Bill Conti and Lynn Holly Johnson!
Man this was so much better on a big screen with a room full of Bond fans. The middle bits are still boring, and all of the people getting up to go to the bathroom at that time, including Bill Conti, showed that it could be tightened up a bit.
Video intro by John Glen made me so happy!

I’ve seen every Coen Brothers’ film up until this point and, for some reason, none since.
]]>
A lot of fun
]]>
Still very enjoyable

Silvestri knocks it down a whole star

Relevant

Timothy is still my favorite Disney character.

This was something else!
Regal Yorba Linda
]]>
I think this has my second favorite John Barry 007 score.
]]>
Still my favorite Moore
]]>
Yep, still fun.

Hadn’t seen this since it came out, just a couple years after my dad left and I was on my own. It still destroyed me.
]]>
It may be my favorite Guy Hamilton 007 movie
]]>
Sometimes I like this more than other times. This time was the latter.
]]>
Not very Christmasy
]]>
Yeah, I like this one too.
]]>
My favorite Richard Donner movie.
]]>
Peacock has a way better transfer than the one I have, so we’re watching it again
]]>
Matt Walsh is a highlight

Trying so hard to be A Christmas Story. It still has its charms.

The thing that drives me nuts, is when the lights go out, the neighbors start tripping and flinging shit all over the place. Those yuppy assholes just need to stand still while their eyes adjust.
]]>
The ending is nuts. There’ll never be one like it again. Lazenby is better than YOLT Connery in this.
]]>
A lot of fun with some sad

Too much Jesus talk

Probably my favorite Christmas movie
]]>
So much filler that has nothing to do with the song. Everyone’s an asshole to Rudolph and Hermy
]]>
First time seeing this with a crowd and it hits different! Also, a great Q&A with Haley Joel Osment and cast.
Los Angeles Premiere @ Dynasty Typewriter

I liked this but I know that Snow kid’s gonna grow up to be an asshole, so I was pretty angry at him a lot.

Still love it, man

My third favorite Edgar Wright movie.
]]>
Still my favorite Hitchcock film
]]>
There’s a lot of cool stuff in this, and in the grand scheme of things, when it comes to Predator movies, this is a solid entry. That being said, it feels like a Mandalorian episode.
]]>
This movie’s still rad. I’ll never watch the sequel.
My favorite Edelman comedic score.
]]>
Still a ton of fun!
]]>
I’ve never appreciated this movie more than right now. I wish it had less cartoon sound effects and I wish Carrey’s Edward was a little more quiet and calm before descending into madness after using his Riddler brain machine. I don’t care for the pink Harvey makeup.
There’s definitely more cool shit in this than stuff that makes me groan.
Goldenthal’s theme is up there with Elfman’s.
