Rivals is a fantastic, and steamy show…
These characters are mostly absolute upper class and insufferable tossers but there’s something almost infectious about them. You can’t take your eyes off them and they compel you from its fantastic performances, accompanied with great writing. From David Tennant’s antagonistic Lord Baddingham, to the easily likeable Declan O’Hara played by Auden Turner, and of course Alex Hassle’s stud Ruper Campbell who for me anyway became more likeable as the season went along.…

Hellboy: The Crooked Man 6/10
The film is an adaptation of the short graphic novel of the same name and follows a young Hellboy and rookie into a community with strange happenings, with witches and the weird ol’ Crooked Man.
Not a perfect movie by any means but you can feel the passion on screen and there’s a lot to enjoy. I thought Jack Kesy was a really good Hellboy. Not only does he look the part but…

Michael Buble was the mvp of this whole thing.
Some really funny parts but quite a bit that misses the mark. Decent watch…

The Strangers: Chapter One does not offer a compelling and suspenseful horror film, instead is a boring watch with not much terror.
Acting is uninspired and the writing didn’t make me care about the two leads, the horror is limited to loud music and nothing else. There’s so many dumb moments, like why are they using a lighter to see in a lit up room?!
And why was everyone so hilariously antagonistic towards the lead characters for no reason? You can’t have that text at the start of the film then deliver this movie…

I will be the first to say, I will tolerate no Megan Fox slander. That being said, this movie is not very good at all.
Subservience is similar to M3gan in concept. Both include killer A.I’s gone rogue except this one does whilst does do that, it instead has Fox basically playing a sex robot trying to get into the pants of the bland protagonist. It’s not the most original movie ever made and the plot is uninteresting, its characters…

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Much like the crewmen of the Demeter, this movie did not reach the British Isles. Only until recently The Last Voyage of the Demeter is available in the UK after over a whole year of waiting. Such a bizarre story around this film and I was pretty excited to see it and expected it to release on Prime or something but no, it just didn’t release anywhere. It was pulled from cinemas and even from any online stores for renting.…

What a bizarre move I Saw the TV Glow really is. Don’t really know what I just watched but it was something…
The two main characters played awkward people convincingly and the film has some great sound design. The TV show segments are very creepy and left me a little unsettled and the overall aesthetic of the film felt vintage. The style invokes a strange, uneasy and other worldly atmosphere, that does take place across the entire film.
The problem…

are you having fun?
Blink Twice is an interesting film and a very competent debut from Zoë Kravitz that has plenty to enjoy, but also had some flaws that took me out of the film during moments.
Unsurprisingly, the cast do a good job. Particularly Naomi Ackie is a good lead and Channing Tatum was always gonna do a fine job in this role. The film is also shot beautifully and is a really nice looking film. I thought the…

The Crow 🐦⬛ 5/10
I wanted to give this film a fair chance after seeing a lot of anger directed toward this film. I don’t mind this remake existing at all. It’s not disrespectful to Brandon Lee like many have made out and it’s an IP after all and based on the graphic novel by James O’Barr, why can’t this film exist?. After seeing the trailer and recently reading the book, my anticipation was up. It’s not as bad as…

I found this to be a really good watch.
A solid directorial debut from Anna Kendrick that is based on the true story of the serial killer Rodney Alcala who appeared on a dating game show during 1970’s Los Angeles.
Everyone here done a good job in the acting department, particularly Kendrick who although lacked the character depth to truly make you resonate with her, she done a good job as our lead, as too did Daniel Zovatto who plays…

The most important question that needs to be answered in relation to cinema… how can anyone hate musicals?
The Greatest Showman is one of the most joyous films of recent times and one of the better modern musicals, no idea how critics hated it when it came out. The cast is amazing from Hugh Jackman in a stellar lead role as P.T Barnum, to Zac Efron who isn’t in it enough and everybody else. Every song is incredible, the bar scene is top tier cinema.
A wondrous and entertaining journey that’s so much fun to watch with every rewatch.

What a fantastic show and continuation of The Batman universe, particularly in Gotham’s underworld organised crime world.
Colin Farrell is invisible and you can only see the Penguin. He is fantastic in the lead and his performance makes his rise all the more compelling. Although, as the series goes along and Sofia Falcone takes centre stage, Cristin Milioti gives a hell of a performance. It’s a mix of everything, you feel bad for her and believe in her motivation, it’s…
