Marebito 2004
Madness is Contagious. Recently I attract madness. I wonder why...
Marebito dives into the fractured mind of a man obsessed with understanding fear. Masuoka’s search leads him to a hidden figure, and his life spirals as he brings her home. His days turn into unsettling rituals, his thoughts consumed with questions about existence, fear, and eternity, all while his connection to reality dissolves. His behavior, actions, and perception of the world distort, causing him to see people as grotesque figures.…

Diamonds Are Forever 1971
Right Move Mr. Bond... But Wrong Pussy.
Connery's return as Bond shines like diamonds but struggles to protect and connect. The story drags forever, stuck in a loop of repetitive action and mediocre moments. A few witty lines sparkle, but the plot feels unnecessarily dull.
Connery flirted and delivered with flair, but it was neither thrilling nor disappointing—just passable. Jill St. John charmed but couldn’t lift the average chemistry. Mr. Kidd and Mr. Wint's quirky quotes were the true gems.At least the title song was good. Diamonds may be forever, but this film isn’t one to remember.

After Life 1998
Life is a clock, each tick a fleeting moment, each moment a fragment of eternity.
After Life invites us into a quiet limbo where the departed must choose a single memory to carry forward, leaving the rest behind. It’s not just about the memories we hold but the memories we leave behind—the fragments of ourselves that linger in others, shaping their lives in ways we may never know.Kore-eda’s world is serene, stripped of chaos, where the act of remembering…

Gladiator II 2024
This was engaging but couldn't follow up with the greatness that the first part had .
Except Denzel Washington's sharp & cunning characteristics , Pedro Pascal's magnificent screen presence and well choreographed Colosseum fight sequences there are nothing too good about this film .
I'd say Paul Mescal tried his best but to have the charm of Russell Crowe is not everyone's cup of tea . His character was fuelled by rage but didn't have the emotional depth for the audience…

Let's Make the Teacher Have a Miscarriage Club 2012
All Idiots. Idiots give birth to idiots who give birth to more idiots. All we teachers can do is to let them run loose and flatter them.
Let's Make the Teacher Have a Miscarriage Club is a story that carries a deeply controversial title and an unsettling premise, centering on a group of teenage bully girls and their pregnant teacher. With a title like that, you already know it’s not going to hold back, but what truly intrigues is the…

On Her Majesty's Secret Service 1969
Life's too short for 'someday'.
On Her Majesty's Secret Service took Bond to new heights. A major upgrade from its predecessors, even with a fresh face for Bond. It offers a thrilling ride, though it takes a little while to get into full gear. The first hour feels like an extended introduction, with all the romance and character setups that help flesh out the world and relationships. But once the pace picks up, it doesn’t let go.
The beautiful locations… -
Ritual 2000
This film made me realise ,It is not my want but my need to watch cinema ,how it completes me, how it makes me feel less lonely, how it rids me of all the hopelessness in and around me, how finding true love is truly such a blessing that I take for granted and how all of it makes this life worth living.
I will be honest ,writing about a film's technicalities has never excited me unless it's something really…

The Northman 2022
Ride with me, daughters of the North wind! Carry me and mine to the shores of my children's forebears. There I'll grow you a forest of birch fathomless branches to dance your tempest with, raptured by your most righteous breath!
The thread that binds us can never break. We are safe.
This was my 3rd film of Robbert Eggers following The VVitch and The Lighthouse and I must say that, Robbert Eggers is one of the most finest and brilliant filmmakers with extraordinary writing and direction skills of the early 21st century.
