Just a high-octane symphony. Stunt performers, performer performers, the director, everyone firing on all cylinders to put down the pavement as they're driving on it, BAM BAM BAM BAM never lifts its foot from the gas, never tells you what doesn't need to be told aloud -- refreshing -- as well as being almost completely unburdened and unconcerned with self-referential easter eggs -- something that shouldn't need to be lauded, but here we are. Probably as good as action movies get: explosive, fast, destructive, bloody and funny at times, but never dumber for any of it.
