It's amazing to me that so many filmlovers have never seen, much less heard of this great comedy drama from the early seventies. Maybe because it was shot in black and white. Moses Pray is a depression era con man selling Bibles to family members of deceased loved ones. Claiming the departed had ordered the specially engraved Bible before they died.
