Conclave 2024
Pretty brilliant and appropriately heavy. Didn’t expect it to be as engaging as it was, but it was dark, well-acted, and lowkey funny. Now, I truly doubt that’s exactly how Pope Elections go down, but I did find the whole process fascinating—probably my biggest takeaway.
Oscar recognition is well deserved.
Side Note: Did anyone else get Untucked vibes? So catty.

Anora 2024
The film kicks off with pure chaotic adrenaline and keeps you engaged until its bittersweet conclusion. Mikey Madison delivers a knockout performance, disappearing entirely into the role of Anora. She’s raw, unhinged, and heartbreakingly vulnerable, offering a front-row seat to the deconstruction of a fairytale gone wrong. Bummmeerr.
Equal parts hilarious and tragic, this film stands as one of Sean Baker’s finest—a poignant and beautiful masterpiece.
Side Note: Love a faggot ass bitch reference.

Halloween Ends 2022
Truthfully, I really enjoyed this. We know it’s not going to please everyone —when does it ever— but I appreciate that this was a very different story compared to previous films. One Guarantee: I did not expect any of it.
