“Only in a world this shitty could you even try to say these were innocent people and keep a straight face.”
Since my last watch in September of last year, this movie hasn’t left me alone. Then the 4K released and it was all I wanted. I’ve wanted to watch this movie on the new release for a week or two now…
I don’t really know how to explain it but this is one of those movies where after every rewatch, you can easily believe to be the best film of all time. Even if it might not be true, Scorsese almost forces you to believe it. That’s how I feel about it at least.
This watch marks the first ever movie I’ve seen in my own home. The last two days have been absolutely insane moving all my shit. Me and Sadie wanted a really easy watch after two long days and we went with ol’ reliable over here.
“Why return to the City of God, where God forgets about you?”
I knew that for my 2000th review on this app, it had to be something big. Nothing bigger than a revisit to what I consider to be one of the most perfect and masterful films I’ve ever seen in my life.
There hasn’t been, nor will there be a movie quite…
I wanted to finish ranking my favourite films this year but completely fell off in terms of how many movies I was able to watch. With how busy everything’s been for months, it’s extremely depressing. Me and Sadie decided we’re gonna do 2024 catch up while plowing through these rewatches.
Anyways, even though this movie is very low on my favourites…

“We’re all Spider-Man.”
I watched this with Sadie on the plane to Jamaica so I don’t know if this is the absolute best way to put it into my ranking but I’m gonna leave it there anyways and move it around next rewatch.
This movie is nothing short of masterful. Genuinely a landmark…
My friends and I have just uploaded a new episode of our Podcast, The Goodfellas Podcast. This episode is the beginning of our season 3. The episode is a “favourite film bracket” where we all took 8 movies each and put them against each other.
It was a really fun episode to record and if you guys like movies, you should check it out! It would mean a lot.
It’s undeniably one of the genuine masterpieces of this generation. Such an important perfect piece of work from a true genius. I physically can’t give this anything lower than a perfect rating. There is literally nothing wrong with this thing. It’s such a hard thing to rank on this app because it’s a play and not a film but I will rank it…
I’ve wanted to rewatch this movie for a very long time. I didn’t remember anything about it going in to this rewatch so it made for an unbelievably great time. I don’t think I count movies I watched in 2021 as movies I’ve seen.
This movie is fucking AWESOME. Body horror is second to psychological in the…

With my last two watches, this movie has never fully stuck with me the way other favourites do. It’s always been a 10/10, but this is a movie I very rarely think about when talking about some of the greatest films of…
