“everyone’s hiding something”
there’s something about the way the atmosphere shifts in this one. everything feels normal at first, but you can sense the tension creeping in—just enough to keep you on edge without tipping into chaos too quickly. i couldn’t help but feel uneasy as things slowly turned from a high-energy concert into something far more sinister. watching cooper and his daughter try to make sense of the situation was uncomfortable, especially knowing the stakes were much higher than they realized
the pacing is a bit uneven at times, with a few scenes dragging longer than they should. it seems like the director is trying to keep us on our toes, but sometimes it feels like the film is overcompensating. there’s a lot of focus on the surveillance and characters’ paranoia, which can be engaging but also tiresome. still, i have to admit, it kept me hooked through most of it
even though the reveal of cooper being the serial killer wasn’t a huge shock—it felt like it was building to that conclusion—it still packs a punch. the way it’s all laid out makes you realize how cleverly everything was set up, and you’re left with that uneasy feeling of having been played. “you don’t know who’s watching you” sums it up perfectly—everyone’s hiding something, and sometimes, it’s the one you least expect
