If I had seen this in 2007, I think I would have been amused. In 2023, I can't articulate it but there is no more accurate representation of the 21st century America's smooth brained madness than this movie. Nothing else has felt this true on a primal level about the state of the neo-liberal western world. It's Adam Curtis as outside art.
