“Marriage is buying a house for someone you hate.”
Ryan Gosling only has two personalities: really goofy or lonely and depressed. In this one we see the goofy one, as this is a comedy.
The core meaning of this film is how big business and cooperates can do almost anything. It’s up to us to stop them.
It was exactly what you expect from a goofy movie with Ryan Gosling and a serious Russel Crowe. The chemistry between these two actors is undeniably great. They can work of each other and I think they could be sibling. Russel Crowe obviously being the older more sophisticated one, and Ryan Gosling being the younger “wilder” one.
Another thing I was very fond of this movie talking about is how kids these days know too much. It’s scary to see how kids are acting these days, because of the easy access to the latest news. I’m scared of it and so should you be.
