Crazy how technology, meant to connect people, ultimately isolates them further. The internet has become a tool for the 'spirits' to exploit humanity's vulnerabilities, leading to mass alienation and this seems even more prevalent today than we ever thought it could have been in 2001.

Army of Darkness 1992

This movie is insane lol, sooooo many quotables. Very fun and extremely goofy. Even if this is a trilogy, it doesn't really feel like it because of how vastly different in atmosphere each of them are. This might be my favorite just because it totally leans into how silly it is and it goes full throttle on to that. Really want to see all the BTS of this, because the editing is crazy.

First half was a bit weak but it really pulled through in the latter half. Cute rom-com and Bill Murray does a fantastic job slowly going insane before accepting his fate and Andie MacDowell was cute and convincing in her role. Quite funny and poignant, the surrealist aspect is executed on well and overall leaves you feeling warm and rewarded by the end.
Fallen Angels 1995

This film is just... insane. Every character is bat shit crazy and the direction and lighting follows that same pathway. Music also does a fantastic job setting the mood. Great vibe film.
