I really enjoyed this more than I thought I would given that is a legacy sequel nobody needed released 36 years after the original. Everyone seemed like they'd had a lot of fun making it, and the fun comes through on screen.
My main complaint with this film is that there is too much going on, which seems to be common with legacy sequels. You could easily remove everything to do with both Dolores and Richard, and flesh out Jeremy a bit more, and have a much more cohesive and gripping story.
It was sort of odd just how much Charles was actually shown and featured here. I figured he was just sort of not going to be shown too much because of Jeffrey Jones's actions.
