Donnie darko is one of the greatest films of all time. I already have the biggest man-crush on Jake Gyllenhaal but he killed this. It’s an open for interpretation film with lots of eerie sci-fi themes that leave the characters in the dark while the audience and Donnie figure out wtf is going down and how to save the world from ending. Great film, fantastic sound track, really got me into tears for fears this ole film.

They did everything right, they kept to the lore and the feeling during whole film was right. Perfectly eerie with that classic alien franchise magic. A perfect futurist dystopian other worldly movie by a fantastic director who stays true to practical effects.
