this really was a heartwarming and emotional piece for me. the themes of aging, loss, sisterhood, and passion really struck a chord. i feel it balanced the joy of the arts along with the pressure faced by artists, well. the whole ensemble shined but pamala anderson really was a force in this, just incredible to see! i hope she gets her well deserved flowers.
las vegas was a staple in my childhood so it really moved me to see it on the big screen here. that definitely added to my emotions as well as just the love the showgirls had for one another. im so glad i was able to catch this early access screening with the q&a with pamala anderson and jamie lee curtis streamed after! very cool <3
