Great performances from Jude Law and Nicholas Hoult, and haunting music.

Not as terrible as I expected with what I had heard, but the movie went no where with the ideas it presented, and Arthur minus the last 30 minutes essentially has the same character arc as he does in the first movie.
Joaquin obviously has fun as The Joker and I wished there were more scenes with him as the character, which is what I was expecting from it and what most were, but they went a different way.

When I walk out of a Godzilla movie that made me cry and the main takeaway of the whole thing is the human storyline, you know it's good.
Biggest surprise of 2023 hands down.
