really enjoyed the first half, but then it didn’t really go anywhere. also a little too on the nose with who the characters are supposed to be. buff guy curled up asleep with protein powder, we getttt it. we get it. the time spent with those caricatures could’ve been much better spent with our main character. idunno. i was engaged the whole time, but just waiting for something to happen. really wanted to like it.

really really awful
i can’t believe people are loving this
is this what you people think camp is or something?
no set up, no tension, pacing was wrong
you’re just thrust right into it and given no time to even get a feel for the tone or the characters
like a 50’s horror, but not fun
zero subtlety, zero build
or like if horror was a part of the MCU
shockingly bad
i can’t state enough how gobsmacked i was by the awfulness of this movie
just shocked
also so sorry to luke dan for falling asleep
