'I'm still here' was so heavy and hard to watch. Surviving the loss of an important person is something that is indescribable and traumatizing, my heart goes out to everyone who has ever felt an ounce of that grief. This movie portrayed everything it was trying to, perfectly. I wouldn't change a thing. Fernanda Torres was absolutely incredible, every aspect of her character was flawlessly brought to life. I know the odds aren't in her favor, but I do hope she gets her win at the Oscars.

I'm ecstatic I was able to catch this in theaters for my first viewing. It was such an incredible film. I don't have the words to describe it. I am also so, so glad this movie walked away with best picture. It was very well-deserved.
