god fuck you and this movie when the fucking random girl comes in during the mind erasing and they smoke weed i got so annoyed i had to stop watching it for two days. i finished it and the only thing i liked was the one scene where his memories are malfunctioning and he’s leaving a room as the lights are shutting off behind him i thought that was a cool shot.

This is now my go-to movie to recommend when people say animation cant be serious. Kind of a confusing plot at first, but you don’t have to understand it in the moment.
