The Nun II was barely an improvement from the first film. The plot was still lacking of any interest or creativity at all. It still felt like the same film all over again. There are some factors that I want to list on why this sequel was pretty terrible.
One bad factor of this film was the acting. The acting was so forced and there was such a lack of emotion. None of the screaming felt chilling at all and I expect that factor when watching a horror film. The dialogue was pretty bad too because it just did not sound meaningful at all.
Another bad factor of this film were the characters. Their roles did not feel memorable at all to watch. There were no great performances from any of the actors which made it so bad to watch. I was also laughing at what the characters were saying because their dialogue was so atrocious. However, the only factor that was not that bad was the cinematography. The shots were definitely better than the the cinematography in the first Nun film. This does not say much about this film at all though.
The Nun II is yet another terrible sequel. I don't know why this was made at all to be honest. If a third sequel is made, it will not be worth watching at all. The Nun II is such a corny horror film with terrible acting and an extremely weak plot.
(There are no memorable quotes in this film at all. These characters will definitely be forgettable in a couple of months.)
