Yeah the critics weren’t wrong This really is one of DreamWorks best movies. The story is heartfelt and well structured, The writing is very strong supplying some great emotional beats, character development and overall having very good themes of parenthood and family, The characters are well written (The fox was pretty funny), The animation is absolutely STUNNING taking cues from Puss In Boots: The Last Wish while also doing its own thing too, The voice acting is great, The comedy was pretty solid (it does have a good dosage of dark humor which I liked XD) and overall it’s just a really great movie. Chris Sanders cooked once again just like he did for How To Train Your Dragon and with the announcement of a sequel it seems like this and The Bad Guys will be DreamWorks next big franchises and I’m on board with that! If you haven’t seen it already GO SEE IT. You won’t regret it.
(Sorry for this review being a little short I just didn’t have too much to say)
