After a bunch of mediocrity sequels after sequels like Trolls Band Together and Kung Fu Panda 4, this is easily one of the best DreamWorks movies, I have ever seen in a long time since the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy.
This movie age everything I had once I had hoped for in a DreamWorks movie (and the perfect way to send off their films being animated entirely in-house). I’m glad that this movie wasn’t written by A.I that replaced artists during the making of this film, it approves to be like a superior, yet improved version of Open Season but with fighting over technology. The story is so emotional, the animation is vibrantly executed and so beautiful to look at, and all of the characters are so memorable and charming, fingers crossed for this movie to win the Oscar over Inside Out 2 next year!!
