2024 was very underwhelming for me. But this was such a fun time. Cool horror stuff, gooey makeup and stop-motion set pieces, cool lighting. This is so much my shit lol. Things felt a bit undercooked plotwise and it definitely didn't have the efficiency of the first one, but it seemed like a real movie for once, with its own world and story, if that makes sense.

After toiling in the lonely Disney live-action mines(there's even a joke in this) and trying new things with Eva Green with admittedly mixed results, it seems like Tim finally had a lot of fun making this, like in the good old days. I am happy for him :D
