There are some elements of this film that i really like; the opening scene is brilliant and as its predecessors, it has this self-awareness attitude towards horror clichés, which is clever. All the actors do a great job playing their roles and most of the characters are interesting. There are enough suspenseful moments to keep you at the edge of your seat. This is not as fast-paced as its predecessors, it goes a little bit slower in some parts, but it's still very entertaining for the most part. The twist is somehow unexpected but i am still not very convinced it works well, it feels kind of forced, in my opinion, like "the killer has to be Sidney's cousin, she seems so innocent, no one would suspect..." In terms of the kills, they are even less exciting than in any of its predecessors, it's just getting a little bit tiring and the film doesn't do much to add something strikingly new, it just follows the same formula but changing a few things up to make it a new chapter; however, it feels like more of the same since the third installment. Overall, it's not a bad movie at all, it has some cool moments on it and i think, it's very enjoyable for the most part.
