It had been about 5 years since my first watch of this movie, so I thought it was a good idea to revisit it!
I remembered the movie was funny, but I honestly forgot most of the humour. I laughed so many times during my rewatch, too! 🤣 Tucker and Dale are so fantastic, I thought they were hilarious and I also loved their friendship - easily my two favourite characters, as expected! Alan Tudyk was so great as Tucker, I love everything I’ve seen or heard him in (because he does voice acting too)! I also loved Tyler Labine as Dale, I thought his little romcom side story was cute, too.
I also really loved the twist on this stereotypical horror trope, I thought it was very creative and a humorous aspect of the story. It’s just so funny how the entire situation was all one big misunderstanding and incorrect profiling. “There we were, minding our own business, just doing chores around the house, when kids started killing themselves all over our property!” 😂 There were so many great lines in this movie, I just love everything about it!
I had an absolute blast with my rewatch of this movie! It was even funnier than I remembered. 😂 I loved the performances + characters, the friendship between Tucker and Dale, the super creative and funny premise, and there were some really hilarious lines. I highly recommend it, easily one of my favourite horror comedies ever!
