I wanted to watch a cute love story, but it turned out to be an emotional roller coaster. The miscommunication between the two main characters was so frustrating yet captivating.
My favorite scene was when Katie ran off because her friend kissed her. Rosie and Alex chased after her, trying to comfort her. Katie then said she would tell him to forget about it and move on.This moment struck me deeply because it mirrored an earlier scene in the movie…

Lost in Translation was the first Sofia Coppola movie I ever watched, and to be honest, I expected something entirely different. Set in Tokyo, the film features incredible actors and tells a story that feels both calm, brief, romantic and deeply special.

The first few minutes of watching this movie left me unsure of what to think or what was happening. But as the story unfolded, tears began streaming down my cheeks. We Live in Time is a beautiful film that dives into the struggle of living with illness while desperately wanting to hold on to a sense of normalcy.
