Like Perkins’ other movies, it can be a bit hard to suss out exactly what’s happening, but the vibes and suspense are off the charts! I think I’ll like this even more after sitting with it and thinking about it for a while. It definitely grabbed my attention from the beginning and never let go. Maika Monroe is my scream queen forever, and whether you like Nicolas Cage in this or not, you will certainly remember his performance (it mostly worked for me). This is a movie that just unnerves you and settles in your bones, and I know I’m not the only one who felt like I was being watched through my window when I got home. 👀
