Maybe one of Leo's best performances ever. After a while, I didn't see him anymore. I saw Howard Hughes. I feel like this is a very overlooked performance and movie in general.
It's a good biopic, although a little lacking when you consider the runtime. You're kind of just thrown into the world Hughes is involved it. There's really no explanations, but in a way I like that. This is a movie, not a book so show, don't tell. With that said, maybe something like the signature Scorsese narrator could've helped this movie when it would jump around to different events. But that's just my opinion.
I enjoyed this movie and I was invested in it, but not as much as I thought I would be. It didn't feel all that satisfying once it was over, but still...
