The best thing about working at a school during lockdown is that afternoons are now for movies. The kids were pretty emphatic about what they wanted to watch today, telling me that this is “one of the best movies ever!”. So, we watched it, I thought it was okay, thought the kids were cute for knowing so little about movies, and went home. Then I logged into Letterboxd to write this review and found out that the movie buffs also consider this to be one of the best movies ever. Have I just got bad taste? Or are all the movie buffs of Letterboxd just a bunch of high schoolers?
