I dont get the hate. This never meant to be a story driven horror. This is a slasher from killers pov. I agree the origin should have been depicted but the main highlight of this flick was fantastic practical effects and some cool innovative kills. Especially the girl of the cliff getting stabbed to the most brutal death possible. I have never seen something like that before.

You ate papaya but you have never tried to noticed closely how it's smell. You have seen many women, but you never seen them closely how beautiful they look when they take shower.
