Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a little update regarding how I'll be reviewing films from now on. Lately, I've been reflecting on the purpose of assigning star ratings to movies and how it can sometimes feel limiting and subjective. Every film is unique, and trying to fit them all into a numerical scale doesn't always feel fair or accurate to me.
So, I've decided to make a change. Instead of relying on star ratings, I'll be using the heart icon to signify movies that truly resonate with me. These are the films that leave a lasting impact, evoke strong emotions, or simply make me feel something special.
By shifting my focus to how movies make me feel and the experiences they bring into my life, I hope to engage more deeply with the art of cinema. I still plan to write reviews and analyze films, but I want to move away from the idea of classifying them into numbers and instead embrace a more personal and authentic approach.
