Carry-On 2024

While it’s undoubtedly far fetched at times, Carry-On as a whole is an entertaining and exhilarating ride throughout.

Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman are absolutely fantastic, their relationship on screen is what makes this so enjoyable and tense throughout.
One of the best straight to streaming movies of the year quite easily and is so rewatchable.

My rage has subsided and I can finally formulate words to describe yet another Sony embarrassment.
Undoubtedly better than both Morbius and Madame Web, however when your competition is bottom of the barrel turd that’s not saying much.
Poor dialogue, jarring CGI, horrendous ADR, laughable performances, and a script that feels like they threw shit at the wall and went with what stuck.
That being said, ATJ is decent at being Kraven and you can laugh at how bad it is at times so a bottom level 2/5.

A Purge style movie about Werewolves should be a lot more fun than this but on the plus side you can play bingo while you watch:
Frank Grillo being indestructible ✅
Action sequences you can barely see due to poor lighting ✅
Pointless ‘heartwarming family ending’ ✅
Predictable characters being introduced just to die instantly ✅
Horrendous dialogue ✅

It’s definitely a M Night movie and you’ll see that with the outrageously diverse range of ratings you’ll likely see.
