Haunting, Hypnotic and harrowing, Black Swan is a truly unique horror. A horror that forces you to experience the madness and terror Nina is experiencing making the terror feel real. Natalie Portman gives a phenomenal performance and deserved the Oscar. The whole cast are equally as great in their roles. Darron Aronofsky creates a genuinely creepy atmosphere through his use of mirrors, reflections and body horror which ultimately results in one of most terrifying explorations of mental health I’ve seen.
