A fun, but scatterbrained crime movie. 7 felt like an arbitrary number that McDonagh came up with and was scrambling to fill in the blanks which, oddly enough, is the same problem the main character is facing. Maybe instead of writing a meta narrative about it, McDonaugh could’ve just made a movie about *one* of the psychopaths. Because honestly, I really enjoyed watching the side stories more so than the main narrative. Sam Rockwell and Woody Harrelson are hilarious in this and were the standouts for me.
