i really really like this movie but it makes me incredibly anxious with the parallels to real life lol, i cant imagine that the five million despicable me movies & spinoffs that get green lit every year are typically good for the environment

forever one of my all time favourite films, nathan and byron had the most beautifully enchanting and endearing concepts for the animated adaptation of the brothers grimm’s original tale in mind during the production of this movie. very beautiful and vibrant colour schemes throughout the scenes, you can definitely tell that this was disney’s most expensive movie and how it absolutely altered the future trajectory of their films (for better or for worse). probably one of the last greatest disney movies that they’ve released within the past years. absolutely something to take pride of as their 50th animated motion picture film milestone.
